As part of our desire to provide professional advice and a high level of service to our clients, Crest Financial Services believes it is important to put time and energy into strengthening and developing our advice and administration teams. To this end, we recently took the team to Old Bar Meridian Resort, for a 2-day seminar. This gave the Crest team a great opportunity to work together on developing and improving ourselves and our business processes.

We utilised both external and internal speakers and facilitators, who ran various sessions throughout the conference. The staff appreciated the session run by Vicki Writer (Director of The 360 Solution) on Wellness and Wellbeing, both at a professional and personal level. Ben Climo, NSW Business Partnership Manager from Charter Financial Planning also attended the conference and provided valuable input and made presentations to the team on behalf of Charter.

A number of enjoyable team challenges were also carried out during our stay at the resort. These included bridge building, boat racing, and egg tossing. Each group completed these challenges and received (or lost) points which were added up to determine the team winners. The simple but fun challenges taught the team a lot about working together as well as highlighting each participant’s strengths and weaknesses.

The conference format also allowed the team to socialise together, taking advantage of the beach, resort pool, game facilities, and the local club.

The team agreed it was a great few days of self-improvement, learning and team building, providing insights into what can be done to strengthen and develop the excellent advice and services Crest provides to our clients.
