At Crest, we pride ourselves on keeping up with the ever changing financial services industry in order to provide the best service to our valued clients. Recently members of our paraplanning and administration teams were able to partake in professional development days to grow their skill sets in order to assist in providing quality service.

On the 3rd of May, the administration team attended the “Admin Essentials Day” held at Rydges in Newcastle. Here they discussed changes to legislation and compliance, cyber security and new office administration processes. The event featured a number of guest speakers including Danielle Nichol, Clint Musgrave and Sarah Gillies.

Similarly, on the 18th of May, 3 members of our paraplanning team, Jake, Tegan and Jessica, travelled down to the AMP head office in Circular Quay to attend the “Paraplanning Development Day.” Here they spent time learning about new advice document processes, compliance and software development. This was then followed by a Q&A hosted by the manager of the AMP Advice Service Desk; Bec, and AMP Legislative Support Team; Yannick.

Reports from the attendees were overwhelmingly positive and following the events, a lot of useful hints and tips have been passed around the office.
